New Reefer
I got some LR and corals from a fellow reefer but either, I forgot what he told me they were, or he never told me. I was hoping someone here can help me identify these.

What is the name of this coral? And what are those white dots on it? Those dots have appeared throughout most of my live rock.

Initially, I thought this was just a bare area on my live rock but coraline algae will not grow over it and the area in the middle seems to be protuding out more and more.

Thank you.

The white dots are most likely sponge (not a bad thing), without really zooming in on them.

2nd pic: Looks like a dead encrusting montipora to me?
Is it soft to the touch or hard ? If its soft it some sort of sea sponge.

1st pic: is a dead motipora capricornis.

The corals growing on them both are mushrooms.

Both of them are hard. The one on the first pic is not attached to any of the LR. It was given to me by itself. Should I take it out of the tank or just leave it?

Why remove them? They are dead and can now be used as a part of your reef structure, or a place to mount frags to.
