I'm pretty good at interpreting blurs but in the first pic is tough to tell what your asking about. Is it the red stuff? If so it's more Foraminiferans.
The second picture is a species of Porifera (sponge) harmless filter feeder.

David Mohr

If you keep your water very clean like many SPS'ers try to accomplish then you'll have a problem, otherwise it will probably do fine. They need phytoplankton and good waterflow.

Easy there. ironik is posting from Belgium, so that is probably why he doesn't understand the phrase "beats me". It is slang for "I don't know." :D

I agree that it looks like a Clavularia.

:welcome:

It's a small species of Brittlestarfish. Typically they are ver beneficial.

To the right of the Starfish it looks like you have a small colony of white Tunicates and a Terebellid Worm, sometimes called a Spaghetti Worm. I'm just guesing on these two, I can't really see the animals that well but I think it's likely that I guessed correctly.

yeah that sounds good for the brittlestarfish!!

Actually, it's not my pic but I have exactly the same black and white critter.
I can only see two "arms" getting out of a hole in the live rock...

How can I keep it in good conditions?
Do you have some link talking about it?

Thx again ! :D

They will take care of themselves. Keeping the water parameters stable, especially Salinity is all they really need. They will find and eat any fish waste or fish food that makes it to the bottom.

Just an aside, we had a friend in Ireland that didn't know what a "no brainer" was. Now that was a funny conversation!

I don't know what a "no brainer" is!
It's probably because I've been in Ireland for 6 months ^^

Thx for the link... i've a lot of reading here ;)

Thanks for the advice.
The problem is that i'm building up my tank, so i don't have any fishes and my parameters are maybe not very stable.
