I recently started a refugium and added some nassarius snails. After a week or so I started to see a different type of snail or slug or somthing. I thought it was just a nassarius snail, but then I started to see more and more and now they are starting to appear in my main tank.

I am pretty sure these are not nassarius snails becasue nassarius snails have one long antenna or nose (what ever you want to call it) coming out of the front part of their body. These "things" have two antenna coming out the front of their bodies. Some are getting pretty large dime-nickel size (much larger then my nassarius snails). They appear to have a small shell on their back, but its looks to be the same color as their body. I usually see them on the glass in the evening. I have counted 3-4 in my main tank and several in my refugium. They look much like a slug of some sort.

I cant find a picture on the internet to see what they are and I dont have a camera that will take a good enough picture to post one here.

Does anyone have any idea what these might be and if I need to look into removing them?

Sounds like a type of stomatella. They are harmless algae eaters and beneficial to our tanks. But in case they are something else just keep an eye out for a while to make sure you dont see them eating any corals.
