I noticed this "Thing" on one of my rocks today...At first i thought it was a bit of rock jutting out but as i put my hand in the tank to investigate, it shrunk itself aigainst the rock...
After our first encounter, i have been keep an eye on it...It swells out to about 1.5cm's out of the rock when it thinks the coast is clear but does not retract when a fish goes near to it as both of my clowns have investigated it.. The ingoing "V" cut thing which is in the bottom right of it seems to have what i think is a tenticle and what it uses for its senses..
Can anybody ID this???
