Furry Fuge Friends...

has anyone have an idea to what these are? they appear furry, and have a sort of plume at the top.

Those are sponges of the genus Sycon, harmless filter feeders.

why the sponges are appears? what they like?
are they coming with the rocks or what?

mine came with the macroalgae i purchased for my refugium. but they can come from the rock too
