It's not Dactylopus dactylopus the Fingered dragonet. I can see how one would think that with the dorsal fin but I had one and they have some pretty distinctive features that are not there.
Well, I think that is some kind of blenny. Of course there are zillions of blennies and I cannot come across an image that matches up with all the features of that fish.
I think it's a dragonet. I've been doing some research on dragonets and found this to have similar features. The site I looked at says that most dragonets have 4 spines on the first dorsal fin. This guy has 5, I'm assuming that he still comes from the same genus. I'm still looking for a picture of my guy to see what he really is.
