Hey All, It has been awhile since I have updated anything on here, but I think my tank is finally running real good. I went on a 2 month patrol on my ship and I came back to a tank filled with all new types of stuff growning and I can not ID some of it. A little help will e much appreciated.

First is a red algae of some sort, looks a lot like a Botryocladia sp. Do a search on that and I bet it looks pretty close to what you have.

The red buble algae can spread, but in my experience is not nearly as invassive as the green bubble algae (Valonia). I tryed to ID my green bubble algae a while back and was shocked to find out how many different species and even genuses of bubble algae there are. How some of these can be differentiated I'll never know.
