I have one Kuda seahorse in an 8 gallon cylindrical tank. I have had her for about a month now, she was eating frozen mysis shrimp readily. Now she is floating at the top of the tank, not eating, and occasionally twitching. I have read it could be the gas bubble disease but there are no external bubbles. Please help me!

Need better pic.
You sure it's a she?

Also any lesions on it?
How's the belly?
Is it caved in?
Water temp?
is it alone?
Has it been alone?
Tried anything live?
Copepods?
Have you been enriching the food? Try garlic?

Post a pic of the tank.

She sadly died. She couldnt swim down from the top of the tank, but thy was only for one day! She was alone in the tank, I put a bottle of copepods in the tank but didn't see her eat them. Her belly wasnt abnormal, it was smooth, and no garlic or enrichment for the food.

So sorry to hear that.
what was the tank temp?
They're very susceptible to all kinds of disease at a med-high temp.
I believe I lot mine to vibrio. Bacteria really.

Well good luck and don't let it get you down.
Maybe run them through a quarantine next time to be sure?
