Since I cant exactly afford to buy a Vortech right now, I plan on ordering a Hydor Koralia power head.
I currently have pretty good "flow" from my return that goes from one corner of my 40 breeder to the other. I would like to have the koralia push water in the opposite direction so that I can keep the ditritus suspended long enough so that it makes it over the overflow... (Well, we all know the reasons why we want more flow)
In such a small tank, would the Koralia Evolution 550 be enough? I have never "played" with these powerheads, I don't want to overdo it and I also want to keep the pump as small and unobtrusive as possible until I can afford the proper upgrades.
Opinions please...
