Alk doser line clogging...

Anyone else have a problem with their alk drip line from the doser clogging?

how close to the water do you have the line?

Close..but ive had it farther away and same thing happened...have a suggestion on how far away it should be?

i think it has to do with the humidity near the sump. also what might work is if you do multiple small doses instead of one per day and keep it further away from the water line at least 5-6". i use the 3 magnetic probe holder and i can move it up and down with no problem.

I cut a slant at the end of the dosing line and have the tip submerged. It'll still clog over time but not as quick.

Sometimes if the alk line is submerged, it will precip up the line.

Not the entire opening is submerged... just the tip of the slanted cut is.

Ive had this too Kenny, I just try and check it when i do WC's and pinch it open if its is getting the buildup. Ive tried it further away from the water line, I even added a fan in the sump area to try and make it less humid.
