One of my fixtures for my lil 5.5gal is a t5 strip that i still use because when switched 'off' it closes (turns on) the blue/actinic circuit built into the same bulb/endcaps.
Using a regular time or even controller is not working because it cuts voltage to the unit instead of switching between day/nite mode.
I'm handy enough to wire-in a sort of line-voltage timer that would function as an A/B switch timer, but have yet to find any that exist.. do they?
(If can't get my hands on one, suppose my only other option would be to wire in 2 separate timers which would be such a hassle for that tiny lightstrip.)
WWYD??
