Trying to raise Algagen pod

Hi guys about a week ago my clown fish laid eggs, and they will probably hatch tonight. I am not going to bother trying to get them, but I will next time, if they will lay more eggs. At reefapalooza I bought a bag of Algagen pods so that I can try to raise them in preparation for the next fry. I spoke with the lady selling them and she made it sound its fairly easy to start a culture. I looked a few videos on youtube and it really seems fairly easy. Anybody attempted to raise them? Any input is appreciated.
