China pearl wrasse help

Picking up a CPW tomorrow
But it has a popeye.
What are the chances of it living ? And should I get it anyway? I think I am it’s a dope fish.

But what can I do to treat this wrasse for the Popeyes.

I have used kanaplex before to treat popeye on a basslet. It never went away, but the size was considerably reduced and the fish didn't seem to care either way. In the end it died of old age I believe (having survived 2 tank crashes) at 12+ years.

I was mixing it in the frozen food while it was thawing.

Update status.
Been treating the CPW with MELAFIX and Water Changes. Popeye went down but not 100yet.
