Hello guys,

i'm using a BrightWell AA and there are two recommendations:

- Target Feeding
- Broadcast Feeding

I also feed my SPSs with a mix of Zoo, Phyto and ReefChilli.

Can i add the AA in this mix and feed the corals or the AA have to be dosed alone?

Hello NYreefNoob,

yes i?m working to keep my nutrients in line. For this, i use a GFO for PO4, DE*NITRATE by Seachem for NO3 and a Reef Octopus OCTX-300 in my 112g.

I do a 30% Monthly water changes too...

then look into the brightwell biofuel, this is basically like vodka dsing with will take nitrates to zero and well as phosphates. i do not use phosban anymore myself and havent for about 6 months, that and id suggest doing water changes a little more frequent

ive been using it i guess for 3 months now and had done the vodka for 3-4 before, id like to think i have pretty good husbandry as is with 10g weekly wc on a total of 60g system, i dose 1.5 mil of biofuel in the am and 1.5 at night, i dose 3 ml of bac7 right after doing wc also, then have an array of amino's i rotate on dosing nightly, my colors and health on the tank have never been better nor looked better. 0 nitrates, phos 0 with salifert. has not affected cal, alk or mag

You can certainly add the amino acids to the mix if you like. More than anything they'll probably be effective at eliciting a feeding response in the corals, enhancing uptake of the particulate food.
