Hey guys. I'm currently working on my Oceanic 90gl Tech tank upgrade. I have a couple of questions:
1) My tank will be located in the basement. I have a sump pump nearby. For those who are not familiar with this, it's basically a large drain in the floor of your basement to prevent any kind of flooding. I plan to t-off my drain pipe from the tank and run a PVC line along the wall all the way to the sump pump drain. When it's time to change water I open up the valve and let the water out into the drain. I'm hoping that this will make water changes a bit easier. Do you guys think this is a good idea or a better way to do it??
2) I plan to run a pan world pump with this system. I don't want to secure the pump right against the bottom of my stand (plywood) for fear that it may be too loud. What kind of material I can use to secure the pump and dampen the noise?
Thank you in advance!
