HELP! Video of Starfish Spawning

My water is cloudy now so im not sure what to do, if anything. I certainly dont want to loose my tank because of this. The only things that seem to be enjoying this is the anemone crab and my scallop. Anyone ever have this happen to them? or know if im screwed?

BTW its not 1 star fish, its all the little guys in the rocks so its probably around 50 or so.

Absolutely not a problem, nothing bad will happen to your tank.
Your fish and corals will enjoy the extra morsels from the spawn.
Extremely common around a full moon...which is...tonight
The cloudiness will clear after a few hours.

There is never a more positive thing that can happen in your glass box. You keep a portion of the reef in your home and pray you can keep it healthy enough to be able to create spawning conditions.

My shrimp would sometimes spawn in my tank. Very cool to see, you could make out the little tiny bodies. But my fish would go absolutely crazy. I would normally notice because it was just after lights out but my fish would not go to sleep and I would just see them swimming around freaking out (feasting). I would then chime in and enjoy the show.

i am thinking it was not actually your starfish.. i cant really tell from your video... but tonight my stomatella varia started to spawn tonight . did not leave water cloudy but i did notice white mist around the tank

My snails just spawned as well. Every full moon it happens.

The only issue I see is if they grow to an unmanageable number, then decide to rebel against you while you sleep. Otherwise, you should be ok.

I have another video that shows one of them doing it on a snail. Never knew i had porn stars in my tank.

Hahaha, seems like they are more lovers than haters but ill keep an eye out.
