I figured i would set up a thread for questions about anemones, identification, and Care.
(I dont know everything but what ever i do know i will help)

Anemones first off are even more sensitive then acros, that is why most die.
They dont all have the same flow, substrate or lighting requirements. There are low light anemones and high light anemones.

Most of all they all have a mucous coat and the ability to string. They are not really ideal for reefs but there are some anemones that are natural found among acro heads.

Not all anemones host clowns, some are too small or not found in regions where anemonefish occur.

how do you remove an anemone off a rock? or how do you get it to move somewhere else so i can remove it from my tank?
it's on a rock with corals that i glued on it so i can't really move the rock out of the tank. plus it's holding up other rocks.

Point the flow at it. Anemones only move when they dont like the conditions where they are. More flow less light.

You have to make it uncomfortable. Once it starts to creep around put a rock next to it to grab on to or you may get lucky and it goes onto the glass.

Dont try to get its foot out of every nook and cranny of the rock. One little cut and lead to an exploded base.

Unfortunately there is no known way to make them bubble tip. Noone knows exactly what does it and how make it go away or come back.

Most do loose the bubbletips when they are kept in captivity.

One theory is that they bubble up to increase the surface area of the tentacles so they are exposed to more light but as i said no one can confirm.
