Fragging Chalices

I have half a dozen chalice frags that I wanted to mount onto some rocks but they seem to be able to unstick themselves from the super glue. What am i doing wrong?

only superglue the exposed skeleton

put the rock on a tissue and take the frag and dry the end u are going to glue then put the glue on the rock and on the end that is going to be glued to the rock, the point of drying is because when u frag chalice it releases slime that will be impossible to glue

if your gluing underwater, you'll have to twist the frag with the glue back and forth onto the rock so it'll stay

I glue it and leave it out until the glue dries, I check that it is definitely stuck then put it back in the tank. After about four or five days it seems to release and fall off.
