chalice help

i bought 2 frags yesterday one is ok the other is melting on me i placed it in

the bottom of my tank with little light... anything else i should do? thanku all

i

already have a chalice in my tank all my water parameters are well...

i have a 150 watt mh but had a blue chalice in there for the past 10 months

It sounds like it was already on its way out when you got it, or could've been damaged in transit or something. The only times I've had corals melt within a day was when they were almost-dead to begin with or I know they ran into bad conditions in transit.

...Then there were the acros that held up for three days before RTNing -- high PO4 levels were responsible for that debacle.
