chalice question

I have two chalice frags with a few eyes on each they seam to be doing good ,but I never see tenticales coming outta the eyes ,do they all open and have tentacles ? I try feeding them but still the same thing ,no tentacles comeout

Generally yes, of coarse there are always a few that are the exception

Charlie, it tells the guys waiting outside your open for business. JK For whatever the reason the fish cannot see the red color.

Mine come out a few minutes after I turn the pumps off to feed. Try that.

And if you're really desperate to feed him, you can try putting it in a cup of your tank water and swirling some food around.
