New Red Sea Mg test

I was wondering if I'm doing or reading this test wrong. Tested my main tank and reading was 0.25. Pretty low.. So I tested new freshly made 10 gal of Salinity Salt by Sea Chem. Reading was same.... So thinking this test kit is bad. Now going to get Salifert Magnesium test. This is their New pro test kits..... Anybody having problems with this test kit.
