Thinking of Buying and making my own Magnesium?

I notice I have to start adding Magnesium. So was looking into making my own by buying Magnesium Chloride Flakes and Magnesium Sulfate Epson salt. Seem a lot cheaper was looking at ebay plenty option. Anybody buying a special brand and making they own?

Hey Pat, how's it going? I've been doing my own. I bought a 25 lbs bag from Amazon for a good price. I'll send you a pic of the brand when I get home. Works pretty well.

You are only using Magnesium Sulfate which is surprising you don't have to much sulfate in your tank. I heard it's best to mix more Chloride and little Sulfate. I would like to try ME products but nobody carrying them.

I got the trifecta from AX in Yonkers last summer. Don't know if they still have it I haven't been to any store since the summer.

its been working for me and very cheap lol, ive been able to keep any kind of coral and fish with np
