My father got me a buncha Calcium chloride from some chemical factory. Do I have to mix in anything to use it in reef tank? Or it's safe to just mix it with RO water and put it in? :?
Assming that it is of adequate purity, it is an acceptable way to supplement calcium. Dissolving in some water and adding it is all that is necessarry.
You'll also need an alkalinity supplement, and I'd get both calcium and alkalinity tet kits to monitor the levels.
