Has anyone here taken a 48x18 oceanic stand, and removed the sides and installed new 24 inch sides. put a new top on, and a new base so that the new footprint would be 48x24.
Thanks for your help...i'm going to try and disassemble it todayyes and no, depending how you go about removing the pieces, if you take a sledge hammer to it your screwed, but on the other hand if you take a sharp chisel and a small hammer you will be okay. And also remember that is it is oak as you mentioned any divots or imperfections can be filled in with filler, before you sand and prime
