its def. not worth it. i thought about it and have seen tanks in the past with it on, you would have to go really dark to not see through the back when the lights are on. i would just use the latex paint and when you dont want it anymore you can take a razor to it and peel it off.
Thanks Tony, I may just use a skinny roller and start painting. I was initially concerned that I would leave streaks and then not be able to undo me screw up
5 coats and i was completely satisfied when i did it. put a fan on that side after every coat and you should be done and very happy with it. def. use the skinny small roller

Seems everyone recommends krylon fusion spray paints for plastic.
For me my tank is in my room already and I can't bring it to a more ventilated room so I will be picking the krylon fusion brush-on tomorrow. http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_brushon/
its by rustoleum, home depot sells it. look for latex water based. You gotta choose if you wanna do flat, semi gloss or gloss and color i believe its in a blueish can.
