I want to build a 90 gallon stand using 4x4 lumber. Im having a hard time making precise cuts and im at a standstill trying to figure out what to do. Home Depot wont make a perfect cut for me and and no one else I go to can either. Im starting to feel like I wont be able to complete my stand and i'm hoping someone here would have some insight on how to fix this problem. Thanks!!

Usually 4x4s aren't ideal to use for stands since the tend to twist. 2x4s work well, I built my stand for my 225 out of 2x4 and 2x6. Are you using a miter saw for cuts?

4x4s are definitly overkill.. i built my 125 stand with 2x3s and 3/4" plywood which is still more than they use for mas produced units..
