Well i asked my neighbor a while ago if he saw any tanks when he does his scrap metal runs to get it for me. So he did and fate took over. Here it is...Before the Darkeness set in.
I loved it the way it was but im a nut when things don't match in my apartment. Mostly cuz as an artist i like things to flow together so i decided to paint it and make it match the rest of my furniture. So i went to work, i painted the coralife housing black, i limo tinted the back of tank with 2 sheets of 5%, i stained the trim and doors cherry and spray painted the middle Montana blk since i have a couple of crates of Graff paint from my F the man days. The 2nd cell pic doesn't do it justice but it was dark outside and i couldn't go any longer without posting.
But the coralife is temperary. Once i take care of the bills i will be retro fitting it to leds, convert my 10g into a sump and start the vision i have for it as far as livestock. But i can say it will be like a bag of skittles which is why i chose to blacken it out. I want the colors to pop.
Let me know what you guys think. Im gonna rewire the coralife tomorow and will be adding a nice little flare to it. More detailed pics to come.
