brace just broke on my 75 gallon AQUEON tank so im taking this time to do an upgrade on my system..
i just purchased another 75 gallon tank from petland $129.00 painted the back black and siliconed the bottom edges to control the salt creep..
*my plans are to drill the tank from the bottom and build a overflow in the corner
*drill the return in the middle top of the tank
*make a taller stand (52")
*add an algae scrubber to my system
*add a phosphate reactor to my system
*plumbing (how im gonna run and connect everything)
*add more rock (live or dead)
*add live stand ( aiming for a 3"- 4" sand bed im at like 2") want finer sand
ok as of now i have a kit for the overflow but im trying to do research if my tank can actually be drilled (i assumed it could smh) but it might not be able to if not i have a few options these are them
1. i can keep this tank and put my existing hang on overflow (cheapest option)
2. upgrade to a rimless acrylic tank up to 100 gallons (max) reef ready
does anyone know where i can purchase custom or standard acrylic tanks?
i was going to try dutch aquarium systems but i dont know where to go to purchase it or where to get pricing from... if i do go this route i would like to go wider and rimless
