I made a sump a couple months ago. i made sure to get silicone that had no anti-fungal stuff or anything thanks to advice i got from mr.

forget the brand but they had Silicone I or II. Sil I was the one i got.
i beleive II had anti-fungal additives which would leach into an aquarium.

the seals are fine and my tank has been cycling for close to a month now.
i finally got a light for the cabinet and noticed the silicone has discolored to a brown/orange color. Im not sure what it is.

anyone? could this just be a reaction that happend and its over or are there chemicals being leeched into my tank?

the cycle is about done so it hasnt hindered the cycle process.
this is just a temporary sump but i am still concerned
