the thread is very vague and the pictures are in backwards order but i thought this was pretty cool. maybe one of you hardcore diyers will give it a go and let us know if it really works.

I've seen something similiar to this but they used fish string.

I can't find the thread. But the basically made three holes in each impeller blade and ran fishing line through it. It was suppose to create smaller bubbles for the skimmer.
