:groupflipOk men, and ladies,

I am wanting to see pictures and get ideas for how to frame out my 180g built into the wall tank. I built a 'bar' or shelf that the tank sits on to set my beverage of the day on. But I need to trim the rest out. I want more than just the typical window casing moulding. I want to trick it out a bit.
Here is a pic as it is now. Only there are some fish and just starting with corals in the tank.

Sharp looking. When you sat tick it out, assuming you mean not standard looking trim?

Go wit really nice crown moulding on top, and something slightly thinner on sides. In Lieu of white try a diff color fr the trim, silver maybe

Thanks for compliments and ideas. Are there any threads on here with design ideas -what molding pieces to use, etc.? Yes, I was wanting to go with crown molding on top. from the top of the tank to the ceiling it is 12.5". That was part of the trade off of moving the tank higher - so I could see it at eye level. I am 6'1" tall. I didn't want to have to haunch down to see my own tank.

Damn, the idea of trimming it in stone is a cool idea. More than you know. I have a rock wall with a gas fireplace in it downstairs that is close to the tank (25 ft away). I am going to have to invistigate that some more. Trip to Lowes today!

But if I don't go that way, what other pics/threads are there about trimming out a tank. I know that there are some on here, but I can't find them from searches.
