guys I've been struggling here for a while working on 1/2 acrylic trying to router my edges to be ready to glue and when I pass it by the router its leaves a lump sometimes. I bought all the right stuff , I keep getting ridges or ripples when I pass the router. Anybody locally to help me with this? I will pay for the help. I just need this sump finished.

Dude had the same thing happen to me last sunday. I was using table top router table, mine has fences. All I did is aligned the fences and had a 1/16 spaced between the one on the left. Are you using anything to guide it?

oh yea, You see that level, that is screwed down to the table and re set as needed. everything squared up before level is screwed. I used a level because its aluminum and easy to slide across.
I wanted to cut off a lot of material because I wasn't patient, that was the issue. Once I started to take off 1/8" increments it when sooth. I just have to clean up up the edges a little and Im ready to glue.

You do not want both fences squared up. The feed fence should be aligned so that it takes off the amount your looking to remove. The out side of the fence should be that distance forward of the bit. Slow steady feed and patience is the key.

I would not sand the edges as there is NO WAY to get a perfect square edge.

+1. No sanding, did that one time Nd rounded the corners of a bit. He's right about the fence, the feeder should be less the one receiving the cut portion. If its straight, well u will be getting those groves.
