can anyone tell me how to plug a drilled hole with bulkhead attached in the sump tank. tank is empty still. I originally wanted to go with external pump, but have since realized that I will happier with an internal one.

If you can post a pic of the plugged hole, that would be even more awesome!

Home depot sells both slip and threaded plugs. They are around .25 each.

Glass or acrylic ? If it already has a bulkhead, just get a PVC plug (either slip or threaded as needed)

the tank is glass. it already has 1" bulkhead attached with about a 1 1/2" of glued in PVC sticking out. should I glue the plug in or just put on the PVC sticking out of the bulkhead? (I would assume the pressure of the wate will push the cap off?)

Also, what size cap I need? 1 3/4"? total newb here when it comes to plumbing!

If it's 1 1/2" pipe use a 1 1/2" cap and glue it on the pipe
