Oveflow box mod. Need help

Need help. My overflow teeth are a bit wide. And I keep losing fish to the overflow. The faster swimming fish usually survive but the slower swimming ones like cardinals get stuck to the durso and die.
I've seen people put a plastic mesh type over the teeth. Where can I get this? Or any other ideas.

Home Depot or Lowes. I believe its the mesh used to prevent leaves from clogging gutters. Its sold in rolls.

I figured. It's kind of like the same stuff I used to create my mesh top for jumpers. Only a bit thicker. It's like $20 a roll and I only need a piece lol

try Michaels Arts & Crafts Store, make sure, NOT to be to small, u will over flow the tank when got clog.

You can also use the mesh laundry bags or light defusser.
