Algae or Frozen food holder DIY

Hey guys
I figure I post this since it's easy to make and its been working for my tangs.
Just your basic screen cover mesh material you would use for a diy tank screen cover.
I cut the screen mesh 3x6, fold it in half, added 3 zip ties evenly as tight as possible to each side.

Left the top open to insert your algae sheet or frozen food.
Basic cheap algae clip they sell at your LPS or Amazon etc
There you have it.

I have been using this for 7 months now works great.

great idea, wish I had seen this a while back before I bought the two little fishies magnet algae holder. I was using the same suction cup as yours but it wouldn't hold the seaweed down lol wish I thought of this. At least my veggie clip works great too though!

Nice! Looking at that you can probably easily make a magnetic one out of an old magfloat or similar magnetic glass cleaner.
