Hi,

Here's an idea for a simple drip doser using a cheap drink holder for an automobile and an empty drinking water bottle. Great for dosing supplements over time. Drill a hole into the cap of a large plastic water bottle. Make the hole large enough to accomodate a piece of air tubing. Insert the tubing through the cap about 1/4 inch. Use aquarium sealant to seal the cap arount the tubing. Cut a nickel-sized hole in the bottom of the bottle where a small funnel can be placed when refilling the doser. Buy a plastic hang-on drink holder from an auto parts store or wherever else carries them. Drill a hole (if necessary) in the bottom of the drink holder and place the bottle in it upside down threading the air tubing through from the bottle cap through the hole. Insert an airflow regulator valve in the middle of the air tubing to regulate the drip rate. Hang the doser on the lip of your sump and adjust the flow to the desired drip rate. Simply refill the bottle from the bottom opening with a funnel when empty.
Total cost is less than $3.00 and it works like acharm! 8)
