making my Durso standpipe.

I'm setting up a new tank that is R.R 110gal. The overflow bow is8x5 1/2. Will there be a problem if the intake on the standpipe is 1 1x4"? I've got a Iwaski 70-rlt return pump. and two 3]4" sea swirls. Will this small overflow box be able to handle this?

if it is an all glass, or oceanic overflow, i believe the overflow is rated at 500 GPH. I wouldnt push much more than that-Guru

there are many ways around the rating on the oveflows. you can first drill the overflow slots wider to handle more over the wall. and if it is actually backing up in the overflow, you can use the return hole as a second overflow. (you may or may not need another duroso. it depends.
