I am looking at using a 20 long, but do not want to use an external suction driven overflow. What options are available? Could make my own reef ready 20 long. Thought about drilling two holes in the bottom and create a flood drain.

Any other ideas?

Paul

Sure, Drill it like a big tank. Put twoholeson the bottom, one for out, and the other for in. Build an overflow and a spraybar, and there you go!

Do a search for drilling and see what you come up with.

and you get to learn how to drill a tank. if you mess up and it cracks, well, a 20g long isn't too expensive, but the drill bit may be. let us know how it goes. i have a 120g tank that i'm afraid to drill.
