I forgot to lap sand

I guess I missed the section on lap sanding in the notes, and went ahead and glued my parts together without sanding the tubes.

Is this thing ruined?

As long as it holds water, am I ok?

How bad are the seams? Perhaps you got lucky, but I'm betting it's full of bubbles, and may leak.

You've got the option of running a bead of #40 around the outside of the seam, to help seal it, but the strength may be reduced for the long run.

Here's a suggestion; rather than trash the tube, maybe you can save almost all of it by cutting off the end you glued, and replace the base parts instead. You'll end up with a slightly shorter tube, but at $2.50/in minimum, you'll save mucho dinero replacing the small base parts and remachining. Just a thought, you've probably already thought of this....
