Does anyone have any idea on how to convert a regular fluorescent light strip to a power compact light strip? I have a 36" double fluorescent light strip manufactured by Oceanic and I'm wanting to run two 65W power compact bulbs instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, would heat generated by the power compact bulbs be a problem for the light strip? Thanks

Chris

Honestly, it's probably cheaper if you buy a retrofit PC kit. Or better yet, consider T-5 lights. Extremely bright, far more efficient, and more compact to boot. One of our sponsors, Coral Reef Aquariums, sells Sunlight T-5 systems that are incredible.

FWIW, heat from PC will not negatively affect the Oceanic enclosure if you choose to go retrofit. What you're going to have to do is completely gut the enclosure and mount a retrofit PC system in there. Unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with the Wofkforce 7.
