i have just recently built my own skimmer and would like to know if someone could answer a question for me my skimmer is a counter current type it is 18" high,circumference= 3"outside it will be a hang on type curious? looking at a picture i seen i only see piping for inward flow but no out would it be wise to have output at near bottom of skimmer to flow upward back to tank or place out at top of chamber along side inward flow? also for water inlet should i have water flow straight down to bottom or let water flow in from top of inlet down to wood airstone.thanks for any help.
