I just threw the second coat of stain on my new hood, and realized I didn't post any pictures of it yet!

It's for a 10 gallon, there is a 5/8" edge around the top, and a cutout in the back for my hang on fuge.

It's all biscuted together, no metal in the whole thing. (except the hinge, later)

I'l post more pics as the project progresses.

it's been on my tank for a month. I had to clean out my fuge today, So I decided to take pix!

Corner inlays came out really well.

Here's the light for the hang on fuge. Its just single lamp reflector, one side bent up and screwed to the hood.

Inside, 32w over the tank, 32 over the fuge.
