Making a two pane glass tank

Hello All!

I am going to attempt to make a glass tank. Two sides of it being tempered glass (L shape). If my long side is 52 inches long and 24 inches high what thickness/strength tempered glass should I get? This is the first time in making a tank. Any other advice or links would also be appreciated.

I'd say nothing close to that. I should say, good catch. La Oops! Is the true screen name. I accept that I make many a mistake. My old boss, Green Beret, Delta force, kinda guy explained it this way. One mistake, one life. I try really I do but if that were true, it would be an awfully quiet planet because of me.

I've been reading all I could on this sight. I see that I should, if I can, get Starphire glass. Google time.
