Help.... Im lost..... Cant find plans for retro

Hi,

Well to make a long story short I cant find the information on how to take the electronic ballast from a screw in CF bulb and use it to retrofit a hood from incandescent bulbs to CF strips. Had a step by step DIY with pics and how to wire the system w/wiring diagram.

Can someone please post the url?

Many of us do this kind of thing a few years ago, on light ballast made by "Light(s) of America" brand available in homedepot.

You may want to do a google search for the brand name.

However, I have two of these DIYs went smoke up on me. I guess they are not good quality ballast (deposable), and I feel I want something more permeant instead.

hmmm... I might just get another electronic ballast from a cheap flourescent strip light from wally world. the whole lamp is like 7 bucks and it works out of the box. I've already modified the hood to accept another strip light.... just need the ballast.
