I installed some laminated flooring last month, and want to should you that you can do it without moving a tank. I use car jack to support the stand while I remove the carpet under it.

WARNING: it is very dangerous, and make sure your life insurance premium is current. I was affraid that it will crash on top of my while I work under the stand.

I later removed the front middle leg, and push my 60 gal sump back in under the tank. It was replace, to give the stand more strength. There is no way I can add the sump in there unless the leg is removed. The stand is a DIY stand whose construction was a thread in this forum.

LOL... you cheated by putting the laminate on a 45...
Nice look by the way. Not very common with hardwood flooring

You have 'nads.

This brings up an interesting point: How do you figure out whether a flooring can hold the weight?

As you can see, it is a regular California slab foundation. It can hold the tank up without problem.
