Do you have a fish only tank? Ozone is not as popular as before, since modern skimmer can do a lot more without ozone compare with older skimner with ozone.. At any rate, I never heard that PVC is not compatible with ozone. Maybe the reason is that not very many people use ozone nowadays. :?
