How much noise does a drilled tank make.

Hi,
Im thinking of drilling my tank for a side exit to the sump over a weir in the main tank.If anyone can understand what I mean do you have an idea of how much noise it will create while running or any other ideas of some way of drainong into the sump.
At the mo I using a u bend with a tee syphon set up that is strugging to cope with the return pump and just waiting to fail while Im at work.

My 20 gallon tank is almost perfectly silent.

Build a durso for your overflow box.

use a filter sock in the sump

have a good return pum.

No noise.

My 120 is only as noisy as my pumps.
