Fans and MH

I can get some 110v/18W heavy duty fans for cheap. Can I run them in parallel with the MH bulbs(from the 2 wires from mogul)? Or it wont work?

Sounds like it would work to me. Not knowing what your wiring capabilities are though, I can't say for sure that it'll work.

Don't do that!

The MH mogul is for high voltage, constant amperage output from the ballast. You fan is for 110V, and it pretty much will be fried with smoke and spark if you connect it to it.

Why dont you just plug the fans and your MH's in a powerstrip, then put a 10 dollar lawn timer from WalMart and call it done?

Lights come on, fans come on, as they are in the same powerstrip.

Those fans would burn up under that power and burn your house down.

OK. I'll hook them up before the ballasts or on separate timer( but I'm runing low on plugs on powerbar lol)
