MD-20RZT vs. MD-20RZG-1

I'm doing an external pump for my chiller. Could anyone please tell me the difference between these two Iwaki pumps?

MD-20RZT

MD-20RZG-1

What's the 'G', and the -1, indicate?? I've burned up google and Iwaki's sites and cannot find an explanation for those two suffixes...

The MD-20RZG-2 or 3, is nothing more than a "custom" standard MD-20RZT IF, you send your serial number, and Manufacturers number to Iwakiamerica.com they will tell you the EXACT specs of the unit you have. What happens, is someone orders a Custom RZT, they need specific flow rates, and or Pressure / Head, so they custom order it, and, WALA, it's a MD-20RZG.

You are more than welcome. IF you need a contact to find out about your pump, if you want to get the specifications, send an email to the following address, telling him that, you would like the specificaitons, and, list the Manufacutrers number, and the Serial Number, though, on one of mine, the serial number was too hard to read, and he had no problen with just using the manufacturers number.
I DID run into one issue though, on one of my pumps, it turned out to be an OEM pump made for Hitachi, and, due to Iwaki's contract with Hitachi, NO information could be realeased about the pump. He said simply, Look at the Standard RZ pump (RZT) and, use that as a baseline. Oh well, the other one I had though, he had no problem sending me the Specs on.

Fantastic info, thank you very much. I got the pump for $20 delivered, so the price was right. I'm only using it to run the sw to the chiller, which is located 4ft or so above the NanoWave9.

I will be contacting IwakiAmerica for the specs.
