I'm creating a 50 gal fuge for a 180 reef tank.

Just wondering if anyone has any solid literature and first hand knowledge of any rubbermaid/storage containers leeching any unwanted elements or chemicals.

Are any brands more or less likely to leech any elements or chemicals?

Most anything rated for food service use will be good. Look for the NSF stamp and you're good to go.

US plastics sells some nice bins that are a step above the typical rubbermaids.

You could always use a 50 gallon breeder glass tank, too! :D
